Project Description

This contract is part of a project to build a second 18MW data centre hall, to be built on previously unused land containing a small forest on a combination of soft ground and rock, with changing land height levels of 7 metres from the front to the rear of the site.

This initial contract was for the extensive enabling works to the land, in addition to modifications to the land and roadways of the immediately adjacent live data centre. The contract was then extended

Scope of Works

tree-felling;
lift and shift of existing underground services;
comprehensive change to the ground and road of the existing live data center, incorporating the installation of a new road with streetlights, diversion of services, and the construction of a new secure fence to the boundary;
installation of new underground services, including disconnections and new connections made to the existing live data center;
extensive cut & fill works;
rock-blasting;
construction of a large insitu concrete retaining wall;
