Adaptation and extension of existing building to create data hall space
Project Description
The project comprises the demolition, removal of the existing loading bay, moving of the electric fence, construction of a new corridor and extension of the existing roof line to meet the new building perimeter and installation of a new generator area. The aim was to convert the north offices into data hall 9 space.
The works undertaken include the construction of the shell and core to convert the north offices into data hall 9 space. It was necessary to take the Consultants RIBA Stage 3 design and develop that design to a working drawing status. RDM BV supplied all labour, plant and materials to carry out the manufacture, delivery and installation of all Civils, Structural & Architectural Services as detailed in the drawings and Basis of Design documents.
